i changed the alternator on my car because the lights were flickering on and off and when the alternator was put back on the car seemed fine but as i was driving home all my dash light turned on and the gages stopped working but when i let off the gas the gages worked again. well i drove for another 5 or 10 min before i got home. I have no idea what it is. it starts fine. Can some one please help.
My 2000 cougar just had the alternator changed and now its really jacked up.?
You have a SHORT at your battery. Check the battery cables and connections.
