I have a 99 freightliner that will not hold a charge after changing alternator?

I changed a bad alternator and starter in the last 2 days and now the truck will not keep a charge and I don%26#039;t know why everything was hooked up correctly but still not positive outcomes|||you%26#039;re battery could be bad,or its not properly grounded|||Load test the batteries. If one is bad then it%26#039;ll pull down the charge on any others attached with it. Usually batteries need replacing after a few years anyways so if you had bad charging levels it places more drain on the batteries. This means if one was not in perfect condition it could have resulted in making it fail sooner rather than later.|||shorted battery will drain the others...

or you have something drawing on the batterys

when parked.. to check, turn everything off and remove

one battery connection, usually the ground and see

if it sparks when you touch it to post... or better

use a volt meter, to see what the draw is.. also

check alternator output is..
