Now you'll need special torque sockets and a 3/8 drive ratchet and a long and short extension. Torque socket i think is a 14 or somewhere close to that, there's one at the top where you can get at and one at the bottom you'll have to get at underneath. Use a torch so you can see as you'll need good light to see what ya doing. Once dissassembled you''ll see the main power wire use a 10mm spanner to get it off and the regulator connector press it in and pull it off it's the big grey connector!!!
When putting the new one back in connect everything back up put the top bolt in first so when you get underneath you can pivot the alternator into the whole don't do the top bolt up just leave it loose so you can pivot the alternator to find the hole. Put everything back on bolts, belt, and connect the battery last.
By taking off the negative or ground terminal off rather than the power or positive terminal this won't create a spark when putting the negative terminal back on. The spark can actually ignite the gases in your battery and cause it to explode i've seen this happen before my mate when connecting a battery put the positive terminal on last and it exploded on him he was in hospital for four days as his face was badly burnt from battery acid!!!! So just dissconnect the negative terminal!!
