Just changed the alternator and had the battery fully charged, now the battery light on instrument panel is?
Start with the basics. Make sure the belt is tight, esp.if the light goes out with increased rpm. Make sure the replacement alternator is the right one. You may need to use a voltmeter/ ammeter on sort this out since you may have a slight power drain (short) somewhere. Make sure all connections are tight on battery and alternator. Feel wires around connection areas to see if they are real hot, indicating excessive resistance. (Like a connector that has only two little strands of wire taking the whole electrical load). If the battery has only been recharged, but not verified with a load test, do that. Check the site below for a systematic approach. Hope this helps
